Artist’s statement

On the special day of this performance, I wrote on a piece of discarded cardboard, in the manner of a big-character poster: “After 24 hours, please call me: 13811272361. Report, under your real name, the Chinese citizen Qiming Liu for refusing to follow the unwritten rules! 2011.6.4.” I circulated it online to draw attention to the date written at the end, and to my stance of “non-cooperation.”
